Stylist
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Dog Grooming Stylist to join our luxury dog spa in Farnborough. Our modern Spa is equipped with the very latest grooming equipment and holistic products so employees are guaranteed a unique environment in which to demonstrate their skills.
Key functions
As Stylist you will be responsible for all aspects of grooming for each of your canine clients from start to finish. Practical skills to include grooming, styling, clipping, hand stripping, nails, and ears. This will also involve overseeing and signing off work undertaken by Grooming Assistants. Maintaining a safe and sanitary work area and the professional appearance of the spa. Exceeding our customers’ expectations by delivering outstanding service within the spa. Participating as required at shows and other events that promote the spa, and its products and services.
About you
Substantial dog grooming experience preferably supplemented with a professional dog grooming qualification. The ability to perform a complete groom start to finish on a wide variety of breeds within an allocated time frame. Have a generally calm disposition with a high level of compassion and patience for dogs and people. Must be detail oriented to ensure a thorough examination of each dog during the treatment, and deliver a great finish on groomed dogs. Excellent communication and customer skills. Other canine related courses are an advantage.

Assistant Stylist
An opportunity has arisen for a Dog Grooming Assistant to join our luxury dog spa in Farnborough. Our modern Spa has the very latest state of the art grooming equipment and offers a diverse range of grooming and spa treatments.
Key functions
As an Assistant your main responsibility will be the bathing and drying of dogs, undertaking spa treatments, clipping nails, and prepping them for a Grooming Stylist to complete the required groom. Maintaining a safe and sanitary work area and the professional appearance of the spa. Exceeding our customers’ expectations by delivering outstanding service within the spa. Commitment to ongoing training.
About you
You should have professional experience of working with or handling dogs and have a grooming or animal management related qualification. You must be detail oriented to ensure a thorough examination of each dog during the treatment, and deliver a great wash and dry finish on dogs. Excellent communication and customer skills. Good understanding of dog behaviour, with an ability to handle and remain calm around nervous dogs. Please be advised that caring for your own dog does not qualify as having the required experience.
